The Next Step of Evolution
The concept of evolution has been much deliberated over many years. The belief that different species had developed and improved in order to survive better to environmental changes has become more common. In fact, it has also been confirmed, that the human species has developed throughout the ages. Many questions emerge concerning evolution and species development, one of which being, what is the next stage of evolution?
5000 years of surgical tools and their development.
An old professor of mine once told me that the objects that we create around us are an extension of the human body. Although the body is an incredibly fascinating and innovative thing, man has constantly sought to improve it with the creation of tools that make our lives easier. A computer could be an extension of the brain; a car could be considered an extension of the legs or a scalpel can be considered an extension of the hand.
Phobias are all in the Head
Franklin Roosevelt once said that “we have nothing to fear bur fear itself.” Often, we don’t really take that advice, and ignoring it can be understandable. We can empathise with people who fear heights, poisonous spiders or death because such fears are somewhat rational. However, how can we empathise with one whose fears are irrational? Words such as Coulrophobia, “the fear of clowns (not restricted to evil clowns)”, and Agyrophobia, the fear of crossing roads, are becoming more common and are often fears which we can not understand.
Can we be super human?
When asking this, I don’t mean flying, shooting lasers from the eyes or lifting a Boeing 747 above your head without breaking a sweat. It has been discovered, however, that the human brain and senses can be enhanced beyond their average performance.
Rare Diseases
Every day we hear about common diseases such as hepatitis, Chlamydia, the common cold or food poisoning. It is believed that the research into rare diseases is lacking and that raised awareness is needed. So what is considered a rare disease? Is it something odd or just something we’ve never heard of before? Here are five diseases or conditions you may never have heard of.

Foods for good sleep

Weight Loss
Fast for Weight Loss and Detoxification
